Tree House Love.

My birthday surprise came a bit early this year. I've always wanted to stay in a tree house.

Showering among the tree branches, away from the busy Thailand streets, and in our own jungle. Afternoons spent running for shelter from the pelting rain on windy jungle roads. Dodging the frogs that weave between our feet. Waking up to the visiting monkeys in our tree. Learning that although we enjoy nature we aren't as brave as we once thought.

A few days spent in Ao Nang.

Our taxis now float.
Traveling from island to island on these long-tail boats.

Little crabs made these designs all across the beach during low tide. We walked quite awhile before we realized that the crunching underfoot was not seashells... maybe being camouflage isn't always a good thing?

Out of all the beaches in the area this one was by far our favorite. As you can see it was beautiful & the fact that it didn't have swarms of people on it didn't hurt its reputation. In Railay.

Pool hoping has become a favorite activity of ours. Hostels don't usually provide beach side pools or great showers. We swim/bathe in any pool we come across.

We visited a few different islands, went snorkeling, laid out on the beaches, enjoyed a few massages, got stung by a jelly fish, ate plenty of fresh seafood, got caught in a few rainstorms & met some rad new friends. Overall Id say i'm a fan of these Thailand beaches.
