Koh Tao

Koh Tao was beautiful and the snorkeling was the best we've found.
Its too bad we lost our GoPro just after this. :( Underwater memories will have to do!

My version of rock climbing.

Beautiful scooter rides made up for the jerk who tried to rip us off. I thought Tyler was going to get in a fight with our gas pumper attendant. He couldn't speak English but boy did he know his English curse words.Yikes, glad my travel buddy is so tough and can speak Thai.

A quick stop in Koh Samui for some beach volleyball... this makes for a happy Tyler.

If only we could stay here forever. Ah paradise!

July 9th

We have been celebrating my birthday for a long time now. Tyler has showered me with surprises and gifts all summer. Finally my actual birthday arrived and the gifts just kept coming. We went to the morning market and I picked out some beautiful flowers. Oh they made me so happy! The rest of the day was spent with friends and delicious meals. At night we ate cheesecake, fresh from my favorite little bakery. Lastly we ended the night with floating lanterns.

Another birthday in Thailand, I remember when Tyler and I were dating he was working in Thailand and he flew me out here for my birthday, that was only the beginning.

Khao Sok National Park

My favorite.

Part 2 of my birthday surprise was a day on this beautiful lake.
We spent time on a small boat exploring the majestic rock cliffs, finding caves full of stalagmites & stalactites, hiking through the dense jungle spotting birds, monkeys and all sorts of wildlife. Eating fresh fish & fruit at a small floating restaurant. We took our a canoe out in search of the best swimming locations and oh the sounds! Our paddles cutting through the emerald green water, birds chirping, and the laughter of my love.
 Best birthday ever.
